Reinhard Selten

Reinhard Selten is a German economist, born in 1930. For his advances in Game Theory Reinhard Selten won in 1994 The Bank of Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel (Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics), together with John Harsanyi and John Nash. He is also well known for his work in bounded rationality, and can be considered as one of the founding fathers of experimental economics.

Reinhard Selten is professor emeritus at the University of Bonn, Germany, and holds several honorary doctoral degrees.
