Ricky Williams
Ricky Williams (born May 21, 1977) is an American football running back for the Miami Dolphins NFL franchise.Born in San Diego, California. Williams played college football for University of Texas at Austin. During his illustrious college career, Ricky holds or shares 20 NCAA football records. Most notably, Ricky Williams became the NCAA career rushing leader in 1998 with 6,279 yards which was broken a year later by University of Wisconsin's Ron Dayne. (6,925) In 1998, Ricky Williams won the 64th Heisman Trophy becoming the second Texas Longhorn to win this honor, joining Earl Campbell. In the 1999 NFL Draft, New Orleans Saints gave up its entire draft to trade up with the Washington Redskins to select Williams in the first round. (5th pick overall) After three seasons with the Saints, they traded him to the Miami Dolphins for two first-round picks. In his first season with the Dolphins, he gain the league-high for the season, 1,853 yards. Ricky Williams usually appears with long dreadlocks and has several tatoos. He also suffered from social anxiety disorder.
