Sangria

Sangria, a famous spanish wine-drink, is a mixture of

  • 40-60% red wine (spanish prefer XXX)
  • 1 orange, cut in small pieces, per liter wine
  • 1 lemon, cut in small pieces, per liter wine
  • 20-30% orange juice
  • 20-30% club soda

As I've done some research through sangria recipes, I found the above the base. Below you find many optional ingrediences, that I found in various recipes:

  • 4cl brandy per liter wine
  • 2oz chilled Curacao or Triple Sec. per liter wine
  • Grand Marnier
  • 1 apple, cut in small pieces, per liter wine
  • other fruit, cut in pieces (strawberries, kiwi, grapes)
  • lemon juice
  • sugar
  • lime (sometimes instead of lemon)

Keep chilled in fridge for 1-2 days. Serve chilled.
