Sefton Park

Sefton Park is both a park and a district of South Liverpool, England.

The park is 640 acres in area and was laid out in the 19th century. It has tennis courts, a lake (formerly used for boating), a model pirate ship, a statue of Peter Pan and a superb Palm House (recently restored).

The district surrounding the park is mainly Victorian, with large villas and apartment blocks. Lark Lane is lined with pubs, restaurants and specialist shops.

There was a railway station called Sefton Park which closed in 1960.
