Starpath

Starpath was founded in 1981 under the name "Arcadia Corporation," but changed its name to Starpath shortly after, due to copyright reasons. Starpath is known for creating the Starpath Supercharger in 1982. This add-on for the Atari 2600 video game console expanded the machine capabilities adding additional RAM and allowing for higher resolution graphics and larger games. Games were stored on compact audio cassettes.

Starpath merged with Epyx in 1983.

Starpath games:

  • Communist Mutants From Space
  • Dragonstomper
  • Escape From The Mindmaster
  • Fireball
  • Frogger, The Official
  • Jungle Raid
  • Killer Satellites
  • Party Mix
  • Phasor Patrol
  • Rabbit Transit
  • Suicide Mission
  • Survival Island
  • Sword Of Saros

Rights to Starpath games are currently owned by Bridgestone Multimedia, a religious multimedia company.
