Stella

Stella is a brand of Egyptian beer from the Al Ahram Beverages Company (purchased by Heineken in 2002.) It's practically the only alcohol-containing beer available in Egypt, generally sold only to tourists at a price that few average Egyptians could afford (if they wanted it: alcohol is apparently banned by Islam.)

T-shirts with a Stella logo and the slogan "That which does not kill us makes us stronger" are sold in tourist areas throughout the country.
