Sterling (car)

The Sterling motor car was a US brand produced by the Rover company of the UK. It was sold from 1987 to 1991. During this period Rover was in collaboration with Honda of Japan.

In teritories other than the US a more extensive model range was marketed under the name Rover 800, with Sterling being an secondary name for the more luxurious models. Following a revamp in 1991 this range lasted into the late 1990s.
