Supermercados Bahama is a chain of supermarkets in Brazil.

History

It could be said that Supermercados Bahamas is the Cinderella of Brazilian supermarkets. Established in 1983, it was originally only a small bar in a corner of the Minas department.

Supermercados Bahamas eventually opened stores through the country, reaching a total of (as of 2003), 360 stores nationwide. Also as of 2003, the chain was the 20th. largest chain of supermarkets in Brazil.

Supermercados Bahamas is also noted for their television campaigns in Brazil.
