Synaspismos
Synaspismos (Syn) (Greek: Συνασπισμος for Coalition) is a Greek political party of the radical left.The current party was founded in 1992 after the Communist Party of Greece withdrew from an earlier project, also called Synaspismos (Coalition of the Left and Progress).
The party has members in the national and European Parliament. It claims to be the third largest party of local government in Greece. In the European Parliament they sit in the European United Left - Nordic Green Left group.
Synaspismos says it is democratic socialist, green, feminist and anti-militaristic.
