Tales of Hoffmann

Tales of Hoffmann is an opera by Jacques Offenbach. The libretto was written by Jules Barbier, based on the tales of E.T.A. Hoffmann. It was first performed in Paris in 1881.

Tales of Hoffmann is part of the standard operatic repertoire. There are a several recordings of it, and it is regularly performed.
