Terminator X

DJ of Public Enemy, has also produced two very versatile solo albums, "Terminator X & The Valley of Jeep Beats" (1991) and "Super Bad" (1994) - featuring, among others, Chuck D, Sista Souljah, Kool DJ Herc, the Cold Crush Brothers and a Bass music track by the Punk Barbarians. His given name is Norman Rogers. Due to his reserved nature in the public eye, it has been said that Terminator X "only speaks with his hands" in reference to his adept scratching abilities.

The open-source source software package terminatorX ( http://www.terminatorX.cx/ ) which allows a user "scratch" using audio files on Linux and unix based platforms is named after him.
