The Playboy Mansion

The Playboy Mansion is a mansion in Hollywood, California, occupied by Playboy Magazine owner Hugh Hefner and many of his playmates. It is arguably one of the most famous residences in California.

The house was, according to television show Livin Large, built in 1876. It became famous during the 1970s because of Hefner's wild parties, which include Hollywood stars and multiple couple sex very often.

The house includes many amenities, such as a large swimming pool with a water fountain and a "grotto." This feature and many others have often been showcased on television.

During the early 2000s, ESPN began broadcasting live boxing bouts from the house's large backyard. Vassiliy Jirov is one of the notables to have fought there. Sugar Ray Leonard, in his capacity as boxing promoter, has held boxing cards there.
