The Wiz

"The Wiz" is a film adaptation of the Broadway play of the same name. It is written by Joel Schumacher and directed by Sidney Lumet.

It was filmed in 1978 at "Astoria Studios" in New York, and stars Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Nipsey Russell, and Ted Ross. The film and play are both adaptations of the classic tale: The Wizard Of Oz by L. Frank Baum.
