Thurl Ravenscroft

Thurl Ravenscroft (born February 6, 1914) is an American voice actor with a deep, booming voice. He is best known as the voice of Tony The Tiger in Kellogg's Frosted Flakes TV commercials and from the song You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch from the holiday TV show Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

His voice is also heard in many Disney theme rides, including Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. Other familiar cartoons include "The Brave Little Toaster."

He was born in Norfolk, Virginia.
