Tokugawa Ieyoshi

Tokugawa Ieyoshi (1793-1853; r. 1837-53) is the twelveth shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate in Japan.

He was born as the second son of the eleventh shogun Tokugawa Ienari and employed Mizuno Tadakuni to conduct the Tenpo reform.
