University of Alabama
The University of Alabama is an institution of higher learning, located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It was established in 1820 and opened its doors on April 18, 1831. Today it has an enrollment of near 20,000 students.The school's sports teams are known as the Crimson Tide and they participate in the NCAA's Division I-A athletics and in the SEC.
