Van and Schenck

Van and Schenck were a popular United States Vaudeville duo in the 1910s and 1920s, consisting of Gus Van (real name August Von Glahn, 1886 - 1968), baritone and Joe Schenck (born Joseph Thuma Schenck, died 1930), tenor.

The duo sang and did comedy routeens. They were Vaudeville stars, appeared in the Ziegfeld Follies, and made numberous phonograph records for the Emerson, Victor, and Columbia record companies.

They also did radio shows, and in the late 1920s appeared in some sound films.
