Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire

Whitchurch is a village in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Aylesbury Vale, about four miles south of Winslow, four miles north of Aylesbury.

The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means white church. Whitchurch is a common place name in England.

Whitchurch includes many fine old buildings, and is considered by many to be quite picturesque. There was once a market in the village, granted in 1425, and the old market square still remains.
