Critical Review

  • In their new season overview, under the "What's Good" category, TV Guide (Canada) said "We'll get back to you." The show has an "abysmal and intrusive laugh track." The magazine's "Bottom Line" was that "[t]he show's called Whoopi, but Whoopi plays a character named Mavis. Goldberg is banking that the audience will become confused and won't hold this poorly executed sitcom against her. Fat chance."
