WiDEN

WiDEN is apparently the name given to Nextel's 3G network. Nextel is a little bit too late in announcing a 3G network and offerings. It has to be seen if WiDEN will outperform Verizon's 3G network, though many analysts doubt that it will. iDEN has been said that it's totally incompatible with 3G networks so the assumption should be made that WiDEN will also be incompatible with 3G networks.
