Zipporah

In the Bible, Zipporah was Moses's wife. Moses met Zipporah when fleeing from Egypt. Her father was Jethro, a priest of Midian. Zipporah and Moses had two sons, Gershom and Eliezer. At one point, as Moses was returning to Egypt to confront Pharaoh, Zipporah saved Moses' life. God was prepared to kill Moses, apparently because his firstborn son Gershom had not been circumcisedd, so Zipporah performed the circumcision and touched Moses' feet with the foreskin, saying, "Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me." God then spared Moses.

Her name is Hebrew for 'bird'.
